The purpose of the Sri Sathya Sai Society of America, a charitable corporation, is to share and disseminate the spiritual teachings of Sri Sathya Sai Baba and to assist in the educational and humanitarian services started by Him. The humanitarian projects supported by the Sathya Sai Society of America service the following needs, among others: medical, educational, water, food, shelter, clothing and disaster relief.
The life and teachings of Sri Sathya Sai Baba are the inspiration for all humanitarian projects supported by the Sathya Sai Society of America. Throughout His life Sri Sathya Sai Baba gave in abundance. His unconditional and unlimited love continues to comfort, nourish, protect, heal and fill the emptiness of millions from every corner of the world.
Every project is carried out with the intent to manifest not only love but also truth, righteousness, peace and non-violence, the five human values promulgated by Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Humanitarian assistance supported by the Sathya Sai Society of America is administered universally without regard for the recipient’s religion, race, caste, creed, country, gender and socio-economic or ethnic status.
