Sathya Society of America

The Sathya Sai Society of America, a charitable, tax-exempt 501(c) (3) corporation, was established in 1969. Funds received by the Sathya Sai Society of America are used for charitable projects, including those under the auspices of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust and the Sri Sathya Sai World Foundation. The Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust oversees humanitarian-aid projects within India and the details of its work can be accessed online using the web link http://srisathyasai.org.in. The Sri Sathya Sai World Foundation oversees humanitarian-aid projects outside of India and the details of its humanitarian service projects are published every month in Sanathana Sarathi, a magazine dedicated for the dissemination of Sathya Sai Baba’s teachings.

The trustees of the Sathya Sai Society of America volunteer their time and take no remunerations. Hence no funds are used for administrative purposes and virtually all donations received are used exclusively for charitable purposes.

Funds are never solicited by the Sathya Sai Society of America from devotees of Sathya Sai Baba or from the public, at any venue, through any medium or by any individual. Moreover, no payment is expected or sought in return for services rendered at any function, gathering, service project, educational project or devotional enterprise conducted under the name of Sathya Sai Baba. This is a formal policy followed by the Sathya Sai Society of America. It is the official, non-profit organization that receives voluntary contributions from generous individuals in the United States of America who desire to support humanitarian endeavors conducted throughout the world.
